Alison Shea was fortunate to have a mother with a love of painting! Fostered by creativity, Alison grew up an artist. She served for 6 years in the US Navy as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst before becoming a professional artist (nothing like years without windows to find your passon!). Alison spent 4 years travelling accross Europe teaching painting classes to all ages and focusing on creating her body of gallery work. She moved back to the United States in 2024 and now splits her seasons as a Ski School director in Western North Carolina through the winter and teaching and muraling accross the South from Spring to early Fall. Alison regularly participates in "Plein Air" painting festivals, mainly accross the Southeast. 

Alison has passion for education, the outdoors, and loves working with and designing for children. She has vast experience in short term rentals, small businessses, and youth themed murals.
