Alison Shea Art began their artistic journey far before being concerned with the word "professional". Spending a majority of her youth splitting time between day dreaming and creating visual works, art comes like breathing to Alison. Her professional career began with the U.S. Navy, but still she found herself called to create. The drive to share her talent was present, but most importantly creating for Alison is ignited by the need to communicate with her inner self.
Alison Shea Art is primarily self-taught and has their own approach to - and definition of - art. Alison believes the ability to create is not solely a human gift, but a universal truth and methodology to quiet to constant onslaught of the noise of today's society. She teaches painting from this core belief, knowing sharing the confidence to create is more than just a hobby, and can lead to profound healing and peace. Qualifications and Experience
Alison Shea Art has a great variety of artistic experience. Beginning with just at-home works for self expression, she has since expanded to Plein-Air painting festivals, exhibitions of her work, and instruction for lessons and private events.

Brevard, NC, USA June 25 - 27, 2021
Painted on-site at several locations throughout Brevard, NC and prepared completed works for a collector's sale on the final day.
DUBLIN PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL
Dublin, IR 20 - 26 June 2022
Painted at several coveted locations around Dublin, to include the National Botanical Gardens (pictured above). Participated in daily expositions of works with over 200 other artists.
ART INSTRUCTOR

Located in Belgium currently, Alison regularly instructs at the SHAPE Arts and Crafts Center, on the SHAPE NATO base in Mons, BE. She also teaches private events and lessons in the surrounding area.
